"Discover your Destiny"

As we know, we all are on this earth for a special purpose and god has planned all things, so we need to find out, what is the purpose of our life? We should find and discover our destiny.

Here I want to share some thoughts for this…..

1. Find out, what gets your attention? You should able to find out what interests you. What capture your attention? As far as I know you are not called to do something that does not interest you. For example Cricket, badminton, politics and finance gets my attention.

2. Find out, what gets you energized? There’s a difference in being interested in something and being energized by it. I am interested in politics, but I am definitely not energized by it. You may be interested in thousands of things, but within your sphere of interests, what energizes you? What makes your heart beat faster when you think about doing it? You have to identify it.

3. Find out, in which you can become good? Just because something interests you & energizes you doesn’t mean you are good at it. I am interested in and energized by Badminton But I was never able to score well. So what are you good at? If you are not sure what you are good at, ask your friends & family members. They can probably tell you.

4. Find out, what gets you frustrated? Is there anything that causes you to lose sleep? What makes you think, “This isn’t right? Someone should do something about this!” But here I want to make clear one thing, this is applicable only when, something gets your attention, you are energized by it and you are good at. Because some time this thought is mistaken like, we are all get frustrated after the defeat of Indian cricket team and we suggest them this is not right, someone should take proper action about this.

5. Find out, one thing which drives you to do something? For that it doesn’t matter if you are paid or unpaid, recognized or unrecognized, you simply must act.

If you feel lost or confused and have no idea what it is you should do with your life, these few thoughts can help you discover your destiny.

Michael Schumacher, Viswanathan Anand, Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Bill Gates, Warren Edward Buffett all are successful today because they were able to find out the pupose of life. They were able to discover their destiny.

So find out your destiny if you want to be a successful person.

Commonwealth Games - 2010

The 2010 Commonwealth Games are the nineteenth Commonwealth Games. The Games are scheduled to be held in Delhi, India between 3 October and 14 October 2010. The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. It will also be the first time the Commonwealth Games will be held in India and the second time the event has been held in Asia (after 1998 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

The bid which was made in 2003 for hosting Commonwealth Games was put at 1,899 crore rupees, however the unofficial assessment of actual costs have been mindboggling 30,000 crore. Normally, it is expected that the cost of such events go up as the event approaches, but this kind of rise in figures is unimaginable. This shows how badly we plan our projects.

Remember the extravaganza called Beijing Olympics? It was one of the most expensive Olympics ever to be held. People were in wonder of what China had done with the Infrastructure & facilities for the tournament. For China, it was a big step for changing its global image from a poor country to a more modern upcoming super-power nation.

India wants to do same but On the other hand, India seems to be doing exactly the opposite, although, we cannot say this until the Commonwealth Games supposed to be held this year in Delhi are over. But the way things are going currently, India may have to hide their faces, if something is not done.

Although the IOC head Mr. Suresh Kalmadi keeps iterating that they are on schedule but as of now, none of the venues are even near completion. And it is just not for the venues, the accommodation arrangements for the athletes also are a big issue.

Delhi, which is to host the games in October, next year, is a complete mess. Almost every major road is dug up or blocked, either for Metro or flyover construction.

India should always host such events to showcase our progress but with these findings I think hosting such events is proving to be more counter – productive.

Is it better to cancel the Commonwealth Games plan instead of ruining India’s Image or should we go all out and do whatever it takes to ensure that Games are held with some amount of respectability?
